30 designers to showcase at first India Beach Fashion Week

More than 30 young and seasoned Indian designers will showcase their latest resort, swim, beach and cruise clothing lines at the upcoming inaugural edition of India Beach Fashion Week 2015 (IBFW 2015).
Due to be held at the pristine Candolim beach, located in the sun-kissed state of Goa, from February 5 to 7, 2015, the event will feature exquisite creations from names like Anjallee and Arjun Kapoor, and Pria Kataaria Puri.
The well-known Indian designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacock will present a destination bridalwear range on the final day of the fashion-cum-entertainment extravaganza.
In addition to glam catwalk parades, the three-day soiree will also feature more than 50 pop-up shops showcasing the finest assortments of designerwear and accessories as well as high-octane entertainment programmes.
While speaking about the event, the IBFW co-founder and chief creative officer Mr.Pallav Ojha emphasizes, “Our core team has pooled their vast experience and talent into the conception of IBFW. We endeavour to create a platform where designers can showcase their collections exclusively for beach/cruise wear and destination bride for which there is a great demand but remains unexplored. IBFW provides this potent mix by fusing fashion with luxury, sun kissed beaches and music.”
Amyn Manji, another IBFW co-founder, also said in a statement, “This is a very unique property and we want to take this international to various Beach and Destination Wedding destinations as we go along. For now, I invite you to come experience and enjoy art, culture, and the Goan hositaIity at IBFW 2015.”
The swim-resort wear and destination bridal-wear market has seen exponential growth in the last few years. IBFW looks to create a distinguished platform for young and established designers to showcase and retail their latest and specially created collections to national and international clientele. (PB)
