European licensor to sell PEI's Farah and Original Penguin

Perry Ellis International (PEI), the American sportswear and casualwear designer, distributor and licensor, has sealed two licensing agreements with New Accessories Group granting rights to sell products from the former’s Farah and Original Penguin brands in Europe.
According to the newly signed deal, the winterwear and accessories collections, including knitted hats, scarves, gloves, innererwear, belts and socks, will be launched in premium department stores, online and specialty retailers across UK and some other European countries sometime during Fall-2015 season.
Commenting on the new association with the European fashion supplier and licensor, PEI’s chairman and CEO, George Feldenkreis remarked in a media communication, “Our Company looks forward to working closely with New Accessories Group, as we execute our strategy to extend the reach of our global portfolio of lifestyle brands across categories, channels and markets to drive further growth and profitability.”
Mark Knisse, owner and managing director of the UK-based accessories specialist, said, “The whole team takes pride in knowing they have played a small but important part of the process of delivering accessory collections on trend, on time, on spec and on budget, and we are pleased and proud to partner with Perry Ellis with their Original Penguin and Farah brands to make these categories a great success.”
“The New Accessories team is passionate about the heritage and lifestyle of both brands and gets a buzz from seeing their designs and orders arriving on the shop floor,” he adds.
Original Penguin and Farah are two of the most recognisable youth culture icon brands in Europe, rooted in rich heritage that appeals to the style savvy and innovative consumer. Their products are sold internationally through company-owned retail stores and major retailers as well as online. (PB)
