Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of Hublot watches, the prestigious Swiss company which revolutionized the style and design of watch making throughout the 80's and 90's, announced the appointment of Scott Rosen as the new U.S. President for Hublot of America. Jean-Claude Biver and Scott Rosen have a mutual appreciation and friendship that goes back to the days of working together at Blancpain.
“After 25 years in the watch industry, Rosen has accepted to meet this new challenge and I am convinced that his experience and knowledge of the US market will be instrumental in taking Hublot to the next level. This appointment translates vision of positioning the North American markets as top priority,” said Hublot CEO Jean-Claude Biver.
Rosen began his career at North American Watch Corporation (now Movado Group) in 1981 where he worked in marketing and then later in sales for the Concord brand on the West Coast. After five years, he became West Coast sales representative for Spark Creations, the family owned Jewellery Company. Rosen's love of timepieces brought him to Ebel, where he worked as a marketing representative for the West Coast.
In 1993, Scott joined the new U.S. offices of Time Products as a sales and marketing representative for Blancpain, and later as Vice President of sales for Audemars Piguet and Blancpain. He was soon promoted to president of Blancpain at Time Products for the U.S., Canada and Caribbean. In 1998, Rosen joined Vacheron Constantin where he handled sales for the West Coast and then East Coast. In 2001, he became President of Vacheron Constantin North America, a position he served until recently.
