Graduating high school seniors interested in design, media arts, fashion or culinary arts have until March 7, 2008 to enter The Art Institute of California – Orange County Scholarship Competition. Winners are awarded half-tuition scholarships to the program of their choice and 50 honorable mentions will receive $300 scholarships.
“The Art Institute is committed to helping students find ways to finance their education,” said Melinda Lester, Dean of Academic Affairs. “This competition is not only a chance to earn a scholarship for school but it's a good opportunity for students to explore their area of interest.”
This year The Art Institute will distribute over $400,000 in scholarships across 14 degree programs. Each program has individual entry requirements and students must fulfill all general competition guidelines. All entries must be postmarked by Friday, March 7 and the winner will be notified by Friday, April 11.
