Zamberlan, the leading producer of world-class outdoor boots, unveils new Vicenza Collection.

According to the Outdoor Industry Association, more than 159 million people over age 16 -- two-thirds of Americans -- participate in outdoor activities each year.

Ideal for any outdoor activity, whether it's extended backpacking trips, weekend hikes or an everyday adventure, the Vicenza Collection of classic Italian boots are handcrafted in Italy and employ premium Italian leathers for improved water resistance and durability plus high resistance hardware to handle the hits and scuffs common in outdoor activities.

Chief to what sets Zamberlan apart from others is that Zamberlan develops extremely comfortable and well-fitting boots that are engineered, not manufactured, with only the best materials.

Founded by Giuseppe "Bepi" Zamberlan, this family run business has been handcrafting leather boots at their factory in Italy for nearly 80 years.

Zamberlan anatomic footbeds, rich Italian leathers, VIBRAM outsoles and GORE-TEX liners deliver the best possible combination of technology, performance and comfort in outdoor footwear.

Each boot is handled by several trained artisans to ensure the highest levels of quality and workmanship. It is this commitment and attention to detail and quality that make Zamberlan boots world class.

"Although the factory is equipped with modern facilities operated by our highly skilled workers, Zamberlan boots can still be considered hand made products -- a tradition that has continued for over 80 years," says Marco Zamberlan, Zamberlan's President.

"When you've been walking for six years and covered 23,140 kilometers, each morning you wake you face a number of challenges and worries.
