Abu Dhabi bride show to open tomorrow

The Bride Show Abu Dhabi will open tomorrow (5 February) with an exclusive range of local and international exhibitors, a new fashion competition and daily catwalk shows, making it a must attend for fashionistas, brides-to-be and her family.

The show will be officially opened on 5 February by patron Her Highness Sheikha Sheikha Bint Saif, wife of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The Swarovski Abaya Design Awards, the first of its kind in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, will begin on the first day of the event, with the finalists' designs on display. Visitors throughout the four day fashion extravaganza can see the Abaya creations and vote for their favourite design, helping propel an amateur fashion designer into the spotlight.

The inaugural Award will come to an exciting close when all designs are professionally modeled on Friday, 8 February at 5 p.m. and the winner is announced.

Visitors to The Bride Show Abu Dhabi have a chance to win unparalleled prizes, such as a diamond ring, an haute couture wedding dress or a once in a lifetime luxury honeymoon.

Exhibitors include haute couture fashion houses such as Amato, Cygnet Fashion, Ghanati Couture and La Donna while models will grace the catwalk in threads designed by second generation designer Mohammed Rahmanian, a leading fashion house in the UAE, and Arabesque Sheilas & Abayas, a popular fashion house which will be presenting their exclusive bridal pieces designed by French designer Judith Duriez.
