Yet another ground-breaking brand has announced its participation in Cosmoprof North America's trend-setting Discover Beauty program.

The newest member of Discover Beauty, Liboté, arrives straight from the heart of Shibuya City, the most hip and fashionable area in Tokyo, which brings exceptional new technology and skincare concepts to the Cosmoprof North America show floor.

Liboté, which stands for Life – LI, Body – BO, and Temperature – TE, is a new all-natural skincare line from Japan, harnessing the healing powers of hot spring water and using the idea that life, body, and temperature must combine synergistically to create healthy, youthful looking skin.

A centuries-old Japanese tradition, bathing in an onsen (hot spring) is thought to be a key factor in achieving the youthful and radiant skin for which Japanese women are famous.

Liboté utilizes water from the onsen at Shuzenji, Izu, a peninsula located at the foot of the revered Mount Fuji. The waters there contain high levels of metasilicic acid, a natural moisturizing agent that conditions ceramides, which stimulates collagen production, promotes healthy metabolism, and slows the aging process.

Similar to a refreshing splash of cool water, Liboté uses a special delivery technology in which cream or gel-based products change into refreshing droplets of water immediately upon contact with the skin. Liboté is a true Japanese original.
