London Fashion Week over the years has seen designers from world over, come to showcase their creations. The shows can be as different as day and night, from elegance to wildness. Every designer leaves a mark by adding glamour and glory to the much awaited event.
This year was no different, Dame Vivienne Westwood, the much acclaimed and famed designer whose name has become identical with punk style, bought fire to the runway. She displayed her collection 'Red Label'.
Her show was enriched by famous personalities wearing her creations. Actor Ray Winstone's daughter, Jaime, flaunted a mini skirt while socialite Alice Dellal gave tribute to Dame Vivienne with her half-shaved head in a true punk style.
The creation carried the look from Miss Marple to Miss Moneypenny, with models wearing 'Penelope Tree', hair-do and high platforms. The show came to an end with high applauds.
The other designer who added the fairy tale essence to the show was Luella Bartley. Her creations were inspired by living in Cornwall and tales of witches, fairies and pixies. The models wore witches' hats with her trade mark style of mix and match garments. There were ribbon-trimmed frocks in pastels with floral prints.
Her clothes have a free, funky and girly spirit. It reflects the designers individuality as well.
