Ashley Stewart, the premier fashion retailer for the plus-size urban woman sizes 12-26, announces the winners of it's National Model Search, launched in October 2007.

Grand Prize winner Crystal Madison, a native of Lithonia, Georgia and the mother of two, Diamond and Topaz, is a hair stylist who has been featured in Upscale Magazine and Nairobi, a black hair products publication.

"My dream came true, my full-figured body wrapped up in the finest Ashley Stewart clothing will tell the story about a woman who was empowered to bring about a change. Ashley Stewart has the finest clothing line available for the plus-size woman," said Crystal.

Brandi Michelle Knox of East Point, Georgia was our 1st runner up. Brandi, an attorney and a survivor of Hurricane Katrina, is a graduate of Atlanta's Spellman College, and Tulane Law School.

"One day I wandered into my local Ashley Stewart store and began trying on clothing. These clothes were beautiful! They were rich in color, vibrant, sexy, affordable and magical yes magical! I felt beautiful for the first time in my life," said Brandi.

Monica S. Ganey, of Harvey, Illinois and a mother of 4, is the 2nd runner up. Monica is a fulltime psychology major at Chicago State University and a case manager for InnerVoice NFP of Chicago. "I am Ashley Stewart's biggest fan," said Monica.

"I have my own sense of style tailored around my clothes. Clothes play a big factor in presentation because that is the first thing people see. I enjoy shopping for clothes; they reflect the kind of woman I am."
