The NHL's Stanley Cup contenders took their best shot at glory and pulled the trigger on some big trades this week, while Reebok Canada launched a breakaway move of its own with a new Reebok SC87 collection that's certain to go top shelf in the gym or on the street.
Featuring a balance of performance and lifestyle apparel, shoes and some of the latest technological advancements, the new Sidney Crosby signature series builds on the success and popularity of last season's line-up and offers fans and active Canadians leading-edge functionality, comfort and style.
The new Spring/Summer Reebok SC87 collection features an innovative Body Mapping design process that incorporates Reebok's proprietary PlayDry moisture management system.
Playdry's synthetic fibers and microfiber weaves keep athletes cooler and drier for optimal performance and comfort. The Body Mapping technology in select pieces also identifies heat and sweat zones, thereby increasing the breathability of the garment.
"Reebok's number one goal is to deliver new footwear and apparel innovations that combine proven design technology, contemporary style and unparalleled comfort," said Selma Filali, Marketing Director of Reebok Canada. "Not everyone can play on Sidney Crosby's line but all players, fans and active Canadians, can certainly look, train and feel their best with the Reebok SC87 collection."
The latest Reebok SC87 lineup includes some hot new looks in footwear for men and juniors, as well as apparel for men. The apparel collection includes the Crosby slim fit short sleeve top, woven and print shorts, training tracksuit, long sleeve tops and polo tee. The footwear collection includes the 7K trainer, Agility Trainer, Boston Fury for men and the Full Stride for juniors.
"The Reebok SC87 Spring/Summer fashion offer brings new inspirations, with free flowing shapes and hockey related illustrations," explained Sonia Faoro, Reebok Canada Apparel Merchandiser.
"On the performance front, we took into consideration the key parts of the human body that require specific attention and made sure to address how they react throughout physical activity."
