Enigmatic creations of Suneet draw quite an attention!

The enigmatic creations by Suneet Varma which strolled down the deep red lacquered ramp did all justice to its name – Lure of the Orient.

The designer showed a creative yet very sensible interpretation of traditional Asian costumes during colonial times which transported the audience right into a movie scenario from the 1920s where exotic oriental beauties are luring the spectator with red lips and mysterious looks under a jet black shiny bob.

The silhouettes of the presented ensembles were sensually body hugging dresses ranging from very short minis to elongated and slim lines which were flattering the feminine figure.

Typical elements taken from oriental clothing were small structured sleeves, high stand, sarong skirts and wide necklines which the designer carefully integrated in most timely silhouettes. Soft fluid skirts were juxtaposed with structured cropped cavalry jackets.

The ensembles were accessorized with leggings or sexy over-knees which were all decoratively printed and followed the overall rich oriental colour palette.

The embellishments - inspired by Japanese crests and Chinese ornaments and motifs – were interpreted in tonal shimmery embroideries and sequins which added a subtle elegant glamour to the entire range.

Fabrics were treated with various techniques which created a lively ornamental surface. Golden jacket allover quilted with ornamental motifs as well as golden satin fabrics with cut work illustrated the inspirational theme.
Following the designer's suggestion, the coming autumn will be a romantic colorful trip through all of south east Asia.
