Surily Goel showcased an eclectic and sporty collection as well as retained definitive elegance for a global customer.
Her latest line for fall 08 put on view a lot of dresses and jackets, crisp and non fussy - reflecting a hint of retro hippy chic in combination with a light 80s disco appeal.
Wide asymmetric necklines, broad waistbands, cross-backs, stiff belts and hemline borders were crystallized with geometric art deco like motifs which added glamour to the ensembles.
Knitted track pants with sparkling effects along the side seams were matched with spontaneous tops. Striped semi transparent leggings and body suits accessorized with the garments added further to the concept of metropolitan sporty look.
Bold yellow edging defined edgy style lines and provided the creations with a soft fluid structure. Short fluid tie & dye dresses in splattered shades of blues and purples were effortlessly held together with focused embellishments.
An extra wide Marlene wrap pant in allover sequined black was synchronized with a short top.
Most referential to the sporty retro appeal was a golden fitted jumpsuit with crystallized cummerbund belt – a true homage to John Travolta – let the party begin.
