JCPenney to host analyst meeting April 15 and 16

J. C. Penney Company Inc will host an Analyst Meeting with senior management on April 15 and 16, 2008. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Myron E. (Mike) Ullman, III, will open the event on the evening of April 15 beginning at approximately 8:00 p.m. (EDT), with his comments and Q&A scheduled to last approximately one hour.

Management presentations on April 16 will address the Company's key strategies and initiatives and will be followed by a Q&A session. The program on April 16 will begin at approximately 7:45 a.m. and conclude at approximately 11:30 a.m.

Presentations and Q&A sessions each day will be available via a real-time webcast through JCPenney's Investor Relations website or on StreetEvents.com (for members). A replay of the webcast will also be available.
