Sotheby to hold auction of rare watches & jewellery

The antique Swiss timepieces and beautifully crafted jewellery worth nearly US $132 million, will be displayed during a two days auction that begins on May 10, at Sotheby Geneva. The event is organized by Antiquorum, a premier world auctioneer that specializes in horology.
More than 700 watches will be displayed at Sotheby, the oldest auction house in the entire world. Classic timepieces dated back to 16th century are expected to fetch high price.
One of the most exclusive watch that is likely to generate lot of curiosity among art collectors is Patek Philippe chronometer, that belonged to Count Carlo Felice Trossi, honorary president of the Ferrari motor racing stable.
Exquisite diamond jewellery pieces that will be showcased here, are sure to attract all the attention of onlookers. The necklace created out of pearl shaped diamonds and elegant blue diamond ring will churn out high revenue.
