Sonata, India`s largest selling watch brand, announces the launch of its new "Yuva 2008" Collection - a series of young, trendy and colourful watches.

The "Yuva 2008" collection of watches promises new and exciting variants in addition to the already successful Yuva variants that were launched last year.

Every watch has a combination of patterns and colors on the dial, which are extended on the straps. The watches depict the energy and confidence of youth.

The timing of this launch coincides with the re-opening of colleges and the new job season. Available in both casual and formal styles, the new watch designs are a great way to complement the young new look for college or office wear.

The watches in the Yuva 2008 Collection are available for both ladies and gents at an extremely affordable price onwards.

The Yuva watches are available in both gold and steel look, with both metal and leather straps thereby offering a great variety to the consumer.

Announcing the launch, Mr. C. Srinivasan, Business Head- Sonata, said, "With India having the largest population of youth in the age group of 15-28 years, the Yuva 2008 collection is especially designed to reflect the needs and aspirations of this generation.

We are really hopeful that the collection will be well accepted by youngsters. The collection is endorsed by our brand ambassador M.S. Dhoni, who is a true reflection of the energy and confidence of youth. This is also captured in the tag line –Naya Josh, Naya Style."

The Yuva 2008 Collection will be promoted with a full blast 4-week campaign spread across TV, Radio and Press. The TV campaign will feature M.S Dhoni, who is Sonata's brand ambassador. He will be seen in a never before avatar which will win over the younger audience.
