'tick-er' a fashionable watch to measure men's heart rate
May '08
Sportline, the brand leader in personal fitness monitoring, is introducing the newest and most fashionable member of the company's range of fitness watches – the TQR 775 (pronounced tick-er) men's heart rate watch.

Showcasing a sporty analog design, the TQR 775 gives wearers the ability to monitor their heart rate throughout the day or during a workout, but in a way that matches their professional taste and style.

It is well known that monitoring your heart rate during exercise will maximize the effectiveness of any workout. However, most people do not typically use heart-rate monitors outside of a fitness-oriented setting even though maintaining awareness to one's resting heart rate on a daily basis can be an excellent indicator of overall health and fitness.

The men's TQR 775 features next-generation heart rate technology specifically designed for analog watches. This unique technology delivers ECG-accurate heart rate readings in three beats or less and without the use of chest straps or belts.

The result is a stylish stainless steel analog timepiece that incorporates three-hand movement with an ECG Accurate LED Heart Rate read-out. This impressive combination enables wearers to fully integrate heart-rate monitoring into their daily lifestyle with a sport watch that looks as natural at the office as it does at the gym.

“Heart-rate monitoring has always been thought of as extremely important though typically only during exercise,” said Dan Kinsbourne, vice president of marketing for Sportline.

“But awareness of one's own fitness level is the key to staying committed to a healthy lifestyle. Know your heart-rate everyday, everywhere is the fundamental message behind the TQR Series and the 775 is the first installment in a full line of products engineered to deliver on that goal.”

The TQR 775 is the premier model of an elegant four-watch line that Sportline will fully introduce to Sporting Goods retailers throughout the country in September 2008.
