The Las Vegas spotlight shifts from high rollers to business role models, as millionaire fashion designers Tony Shellman and Chris Christmas join other creative entrepreneurs, child advocates, and local officials in launching a skill development program that exposes youth in foster care to fascinating career options.
"OPERATION HEAD 2 TOE" kicks off on Friday, May 16 at 7:00 p.m. at the Renaissance Hotel One Ballroom. This sporting goods, fashion, and lifestyle career awareness and training program is the brainchild of Vegas business leader Jeff Penix, President and CEO of Project We Group.
"We all know young people are very attracted to fashion, sports and entertainment," says Penix. "Our goal is to tap into this interest and expose youth in foster care to the experiences, tools, and real-world skills they need to advance in life, no matter what career path they choose."
