Oxfam, a well known NGO working on an international level launched its first 'fashion boutique' in Westbourne Grove, west London.
A long queue of excited shoppers waited for their turn to hook the best bargained designer outfit.
This store is first of the three outlets of Oxfam which are to open in London followed by a number of others across the country by next year.
The boutiques will sell some of the best donated designer apparels and accessories. Besides, a few chosen donated items will be customized by upcoming young designers at the London College of Fashion.
A peak into the store and one will see a rack filled with various items including brown leather Prada sandals; Nina Ricci checked suit, Giorgio Armani cream silk skirt and Moschino black jersey dress all at a charitable rate.
Response from customers have been overwhelming as a large stock of these designer donated items is depleting at an uncontrollable pace.
