Havaianas, the Brazilian brand of sandals coveted for both its function and fashion, announces the launch of its new user-friendly website.

From the moment the site goes live, users are immediately transported to an entertaining, joyful place filled with vibrant colors and detailed animations. Whoever thought that shopping for flip-flops could be such an exciting experience?

Using a brand new e-commerce model provided by Acadaca Interactive Solutions and a vibrant design from Deep Focus, the new Havaianasus.com is easily navigated and offers consumers an endless selection of new colors and styles to choose from.

Consumers are able to shop for their favorite styles by viewing each sandal in all angles, colors, and patterns that are available.

"The redesign of the Havaianas US official site was focused on delivering a friendly, highly usable experience, while still capturing the essence of our brand," said Elaine Sugimura, President of Alpargatas USA Inc.

The new Havaianasus.com also introduces a live chat function which makes the shopping experience even more convenient and user friendly.

This feature offers consumers the unique ability to ask questions and receive answers immediately from a Havaianas expert via instant messaging.

"Subtle animations greet the consumer at numerous twists and turns, and even adding a pair of Havaianas to the shopping cart is a joyful experience," says Frank Weil, Director of Marketing at Alpargatas USA Inc.

Since its creation in 1962, Havaianas sandals have been referred to as "the best rubber sandal in the world." Havaianas were introduced to the United States seven years ago and they created an unprecedented cult following.

A top-secret rubber recipe is what sets Havaianas apart from sandals, offering authentic comfort and quality benefits that can't be replicated.
