The current trends in this niche market are presented to visitors daily on the segment catwalk in the “Supersize Fashion Show presented by Lègère”. Lègère is the leading oversize magazine.

Maternity/Kids in hall 10
The market for high-quality, fashionable maternity garments is growing like never before. Therefore this theme world at CPD features an extensive assortment that reads like a who's who of internationally renowned maternity fashion.

Market leaders such as Esprit Maternity, Noppies and Queen Mum from the Netherlands, La Robe Bleue from Israel or Bellybutton from Germany show trend-oriented collections. Exhibitors such as Brunelli, Komingsoen, Paola Maria and Maximo will also present their collections to visitors.

Accessories Order and Direct in halls 10 and 17
Accessories as top fashion items, used by retail primarily to expand and complete their product lines, also attract visitors to hall 10 due to attractive costing.

The comprehensive assortment in one location, from bags to hats and from jewellery to homewear can only be found in this compact form on the Düsseldorf fairgrounds.

Companies such as Codello, Passigatti, Abro, Seeberger, Gebeana, Petra Meiren, Langani, Roeckl, Borsalino and Grevi present themselves in a separate forum with a classy booth design.

Anyone looking to set last fashion accents for the current season is guaranteed to find something in the Accessories Direct are in hall 17. Here, well-known companies such as Andree Accessoires, Hans Rehse, Diggers Garden, La Fenice, You's Fashion, Pyramonte and Usinger present themselves.

Moving up: concept area Concept 11 in hall 11
Several different labels that present the upper-class lifestyle in the New Womenswear segment are exhibiting in the Concept 11 area.

Here you will find an abundant mix of looks and labels—collections for young, self-confident women that place a high priority on design and quality and have a tendency toward selfdramatization. Young labels such as Oxmo and Peppercorn from Denmark present themselves here.

The Expresso label from Amsterdam is also here for the first time. Lanius from Cologne exhibits in the concept area as returnee to the fairgrounds.

Also exhibiting in the almost entirely sold-out Concept 11 area are labels such as Sandwich, Lysgaard, Noa Noa, Louis & Louisa and Anna Scott. New Womenswear labels such as Milestone, Gerry Weber, Geox and Non Stop, along with fair returnee RedGreen, complete the area.

Moving in: organic collections
Several fashion companies are careful to adhere to special social and ecological standards in the production of their collections. The Swiss company Remei, for example, presents clothing made exclusively of bio cotton.

The “bio” label stands for humane production conditions for farmers and textile workers, as well as the conversion to organic farming without the use of chemicals and monocultures.

Young sponsored talent
Once again the four award-winning young designers from the Design am Rhein competition are represented at CPD: Ewelina Lorenz from Cologne, Seelenkleid by Ella Haberlach from Reutlingen, Silke Bös with Helen + Paris from Neuss and Tjelma by Lisa Winkel from Berlin present themselves at the Design am Rhein co-op booth in the Fashion Gallery.

Before there is a new chance for young national and international talent next season, the current winners show their current collections in their own fashion show on the main stage.

Prior to the show, the new concept for the Design am Rhein competition will be presented. In the future, the competition will not only be open to Germans, but to designers from all of Europe.

Tonja Zeller from Hamburg, winner of the Textil + Mode 2008 innovation award, also shows her collection in the Fashion Gallery, hall 14, on all three trade fair days. This young talent competition is organised by the German Textile and Fashion Industry Association in cooperation with the County of NRW, the European Union and Kaufhof Warenhaus AG.

Born in Marburg, the designer Tonja Zeller studied fashion design in Hamburg. Her collection positions geometrically well-structured, small-g
