Baltika Group sales up 9% in June

Baltika's revenues in June totalled 92.7 million kroons and increased by 9% compared to June previous year. Retail sales grew by 12% and wholesale by 46% yoy.
In the month of June, Baltika's retail sales grew 41% in Ukraine, 23% in Russia, 17% in Poland and 8% in Lithuania. Retail sales were flat in Latvia and decreased by 5% in Estonia compared with the prior year.
In the first half-year, retail sales were stable in Estonia and posted a growth of 7-20% yoy in the other markets.
Baltika posted strong second quarter sales – retail sales increased by 13% and total sales by 5% yoy, while comparable store sales climbed by 8%.
First half sales of Baltika amounted to 550 million kroons (+3% yoy), including retail sales of 488 million kroons (+9%) and wholesale of 61 million kroons (-20%).
At the end of June, Baltika Group had 126 stores with a total sales area of 24,661 square metres. EUR 1 = EEK 15.6466
