Tween Brands appoints new IR Executive

Tween Brands Inc announced that Julie Sloat will join the company as vice president of investor relations effective Monday, July 21st. Ms. Sloat will replace Robert Atkinson, who is leaving the business for a new opportunity.
Ms. Sloat comes to Tween Brands from American Electric Power (AEP) where she is currently treasurer and vice president of investor relations. Prior to AEP, she held a number of positions in the banking industry. She received both her bachelor's and master's degrees from The Ohio State University.
“Julie is a seasoned IR professional with an exceptional track record and a history of building strong relationships within the investor and analyst communities,” said Mike Rayden, chairman and chief executive officer of Tween Brands. “As Julie transitions in, we wish Bob Atkinson well in his new opportunity and appreciate the nine years of service he has given to Tween Brands.”
During the leadership transition, Rolando de Aguiar, executive vice president and chief financial officer, will serve as the primary point of contact for investor inquiries.
