Hasbro Clothing, manufacturers and marketers of the popular menswear brands Genesis and Basics announced that they would strengthen focus on their presence in tier II cities, as a part of their second phase of expansion.
The company that had launched a new brand called 'Probase' early this year, targeting the mid-priced market and the tier II & III cities, is opening exclusive brand outlets in Madurai, Salem, Coimbatore, Vishakapatnam and other small cities.
The exclusive outlets will make available all their three brands- Genesis, Basics & Probase and Hasbro will look at both company owned outlets as well as franchisees.
Suhail Sattar, Co-founder & Director, Hasbro Clothing said, “Consumers in tier II cities are willing to spend and are well exposed to the latest fashion trends.
The desire to own quality branded garments has definitely caught up in these cities and we have witnessed a steady increase in footfalls to our stores ever since we began our entry into tier II cities in 2005.
However, consumers in these cities lack a variety to choose from, when it comes to branded apparel. It is this need that we intend to address and provide quality, world-class fashion, at an affordable price. We definitely see this as a logical move to expand further.”
All Genesis Basics exclusive outlets will provide a unique shopping treat for fashion discerning men in these cities with its refined ambience, wide variety of merchandise and enjoyable in-store experience.
Hasbro is targeting the generation of fashion conscious young adults in the age group of 18-40, who understand fashion and would like to adopt the best with a value for money proposition.
