Malaysia is all set to hold an opulent and extravagant International Islamic Festival (IIF) in the month of November. The show has started generating interest in the international fashion arena as nearly 100 designers from the sub-continent have already registered themselves for showcasing their mesmerizing collections.

The theme for the gala event is 'Discover the Beauty of Modesty', under which designers from countries like India, Singapore, Indonesia, Dubai, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Iran will display their stunning and stylish creations that will surely add much required glamour in the show.

The aim behind organizing this fashion festival is to make Malaysia as a hub of Islamic fashion. The organizers desire to make the world aware about various options that are available even in the Islamic dresses that are otherwise considered to be boring.

Along with IIF fashion bonanza, where well known designers are expected to gather rave reviews for their creative genius, IIF Young Designer's Award will also be presented to encourage the budding talent.

So far the organizers have received entries from around 12 fashion schools, including the Raffles Design Institute, Carven Academy of Fashion, Lim Kok Wing Institute of Creative Technology and Kolej Tuanku Abdul Rahman College.

The fashion students from all these internationally recognized institutes are gearing up to showcase their outstanding and promising collections to the Malaysian fashionistas.
