'Je t'aime… de plus en plus' – love LaLaBerlin in fall/winter

“Je t'aime, LaLaBerlin… de plus en plus.” Every fashionista loves the label, as time passes even more and more. The German Designer Leyla Piedayesh continues to top her previous collections with the next. Such unbelievable success has led insiders to wonder whether she's working with a magic wand.

“Je t'aime…de plus en plus” - the French declaration of love is the central motive for LaLaBerlin's Fall/Winter 08 collection. The phrase references the woman who was the central inspiration for Leyla this season: Jane Birkin.

It goes without saying that LaLaBerlin's favored form of textile, knits, goes perfectly with the natural self-image of Birkin'ish Bohemian Beauties. The casual wide (but not exaggerated) cuts, accentuated with eye-catching braid patterns and rough links, as Leyla Piedayesh has incorporated them, are reminiscent of 68-chic - especially when contrasted with skinny pants, mini-skirts or even A- or H-lined pieces which refer back to that generation.

High-end yet exceedingly wearable and infused with the spirit of contemporary experimentation are the attributes that continue to describe LaLa Berlin. The countless Winter-Accessories such as Scarves, Hats, Gloves, Wristlets and woven Belts are special highlights of the collection.

Thank unconventional prints with chains and diamond patterns as well as the iconic design theme of the collection, the Owl, any possible monotony in the collection is avoided. Grey, Blue, shining Berry and Nature tones dominate the collection, while materials such as Wool, Baby Mohair, Chiffon as well as Cashmere demonstrate the uncompromising quality that defines the fashion line.

“Je t'aime, LaLaBerlin… de plus en plus.” - with this declaration of love certainly many celebrities will continue to show their devotion in Fall/Winter 2008. Stars such as Mischa Barton, Mariah Carey, Claudia Schiffer, Heather Graham and Mark Owen have shopped in the Berlin LaLa Headquarters, one of over 100 stores worldwide (Isetan/Japan, Harrods/London, Collette/Paris, Le bon marché / Paris, etc..) where the collection can be found.
