54 designers already in to dazzle & sizzle WIFW ramp

Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW) Spring/Summer 2009, will take place from October 15 to 19 at Pragati Maidan exhibition complex. So far 54 designers have confirmed their participation, for showcasing their exclusive and exuberant collections.

The 12th edition of opulent and magnificent show will see some of the most amazing creations of renowned and upcoming talented designers. Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) has been holding the biggest and most prestigious fashion event of the country for a long time. With every passing season the number of participants, visitors and media is increasing.

For Spring/Summer 2009 there are three categories Contemporary, Synthesis and Creator, under which designers will display their creations. Some of the couturiers who are planning to set the ramp on fire include Abraham & Thakore, Rajesh Pratap Singh, Rina Dhaka, Ritu Kumar, Ashima & Leena, Rocky S, Rohit Gandhi & Rahul Khanna.

J J Valaya, Manish Arora, Manoviraj Khosla, Meera Muzaffar Ali and Namrata Joshipura, will also grace the occasion and leave the spectators asking for more.

India's largest national level business event would observe a new season of refreshing colour pallets, clothing construction and many new talents, who will force the international fashionstas to sit up and take notice of Indian fashion fraternity which is going truly global.
