Terrasoles 'Earth in mind' wins award at WSA Show

Terrasoles, the comfort footwear that has redefined the casual after-sport shoe, was honored for its innovative trade show booth during the recent World Shoe Association Show in Las Vegas.

The Terrasoles brand presentation at the July 28-30 international shoe and accessories event was selected as the most innovative booth design from among the more than 1,600 participants. Criteria for judging included creativity, space planning, booth layout, inventive use of materials, use of lighting, audio-visual, presentation of new products, graphic support of brand image and point-of-purchase product merchandising.

Playing off of the Terrasoles' tag “the footwear designed with the Earth in mind,” the booth was created out of recycled, recyclable and environmentally friendly materials wherever possible. Its slanted walls and floor are made out of wood and corrugated cardboard was used throughout the display. The unit was created for Terrasoles by Atmosphere Studios of Salt Lake City.

Accepting the award, Terrasoles Brand President Jerry Hemphill said, “We are honored that our work has been singled out. At Terrasoles, we are using great product design, the latest comfort technology and many environmentally friendly elements to create innovative footwear products that fill a unique need in the marketplace.

We took those same concepts and translated them into an attractive, user friendly trade show booth that helps us tell the Terrasoles story of brand authenticity, environmental awareness and comfort.”

Terrasoles is sold exclusively through full-price independent specialty and shoe shops, catalogs, E-tailers and premium non-promotional department stores.
