Hush Puppies goes for makeover to entice Asian customers

After looking at the bright prospects Asian markets are offering international brands, renowned US footwear maker Hush Puppies has also planned to refurbish its image to lure the potential customers of Asia including Thailand.

From past 50 years Hush Puppies has been providing casual and comfortable shoes that are more popular among the mature generation. However, on the occasion of its golden anniversary, the shoe manufacturer aspires to bring new fashionable range for youth that reflects freshness and fun without compromising on comfort.

From last year the company had started launching Hush Puppies Studio in various countries for achieving the desired goal. These exclusive and elite stores are different from usual outlets as they are contemporary and the ambience is cool and calm giving customers space while selecting footwear.

Central Marketing Group, local distributor of Hush Puppies will open one such high end store in Thailand by the end of this year. The trendy and stylish 'Guest Designer Collection' will also be launched here which targets all age groups.

Hush Puppies has been among the top five global brands in the casual wear segment that offers shoes for entire family. The footwear giant sells approximately 19 million pairs yearly with presence in more than 140 nations.

The company is planning to open nearly 100 stores across Asia pacific this year, with main focus on lucrative markets like China and India.
