Sportline, the brand leader in personal health and fitness monitoring, has announced the official launch and availability of the company's latest line of men's and women's heart rate watches known as “TQR”.

Thought to be one of Sportline's most innovative product lines, the TQR line of watches marks the first significant integration of heart rate technology into the fashionable analog sport watch market.

The TQR series features eight ground-breaking watches for men and women. Each watch showcases a range of stylish analog design that makes the TQR series the most fashionable members of the company's range of health and fitness watches.

Understanding that awareness to one's resting heart rate on a daily basis is an excellent indicator of overall health and fitness, Sportline created the TQR line as a way to provide wearers with an ability to monitor their heart rate throughout the day or during a workout, but in a way that matches their professional taste and style.

“Heart rate monitoring has always been thought of as extremely important though typically only during exercise,” said Dan Kinsbourne, vice president of marketing for Sportline. “But awareness of one's own fitness level is the key to staying committed to a lifestyle of health. Know your heart rate every day, everywhere is the fundamental message behind the TQR Series, and we look forward to introducing the full line of watches that have been engineered to deliver on that goal.”

Every watch in the new TQR line features next-generation heart rate technology specifically designed for analog watches. Among other things, this unique technology delivers ECG-accurate heart rate readings in three beats or less and without the use of chest straps or belts.

The result is a variety of stylish and fashionable analog timepieces that incorporate three-hand movement with an ECG-accurate LED heart rate readout. This impressive combination enables wearers to fully integrate heart rate monitoring into their daily health lifestyle with a sport watch that looks as natural at the office as it does at the gym.

Sportline's line of TQR watches can be purchased from a variety of sporting goods and specialty retailers throughout the country, as well as at sportline.com.

Sportline is the performance brand leader in Personal Fitness Monitors (PFMs) and accessories. Sportline products are designed to instill motivation, increase safety and bring greater enjoyment to all levels of health and fitness enthusiasts. The company offers a comprehensive assortment of multi-functional pedometers, many featuring the patented Advanced Pendulum Design (APD) technology for unmatched accuracy.
