Links of London, the leading British contemporary jeweller, continues to delight customers with the launch of its Autumn/Winter 2008 Collection – Anthology.

The latest collection is inspired by the spirit of discovery, drawing widely on the world – from East to West, from culture and nature. Anthology plunders a well of references and is brimming with treasures great and small, each of which holds an untold story. Anthology will captivate anyone who has travelled, around the world or in their imagination.

Tawhid Abdullah, Managing Director of Damas, the exclusive partner of Links of London in the Middle East, enthused: “Since its arrival in the region last year, Links of London has quickly established a reputation for beautifully crafted affordable luxury jewellery and gifts.

The brand captures a contemporary viewpoint, widely expressed across luxury, design and fashion, which it successfully translates to ensure the product remains fresh, relevant and desirable. Its latest collection will definitely create a buzz once again given its outstanding design and superior craftsmanship.”

Informed by the concept of personal keepsakes, Anthology features pieces intended to be made one's own. The main piece is the Diamond Capsule Pendant, a reinterpretation of the traditional Japanese inro. Both objet d'art and secret chamber, this decorative capsule is a place where the wearer can keep personal treasures close to her heart.

Companion pieces are classic lockets, pendants and keys that nod to Victoriana, and miniature charms embedded with diamonds or vibrant semi-precious stones. Romantic tiered bracelets, drop earrings and rings complement the enduring star of the story – the pendant.

The theme of layering runs through Anthology, both in its design aesthetic and the way in which the collection can be worn.

Botanical motifs recur - the imprint of a pressed leaf is etched on smooth quartz. Raised yellow and white-gold flowers dance across the capsule pendant. Turquoise and red jasper stones have subtly faceted surfaces, and diamonds are geometrically inlaid in gold.

By adding, mixing and matching individual pieces, each wearer can create a look that is customised and uniquely personal. Take a white-gold capsule and add a silver key, a rose-quartz monocle and a tiny charm. It is possible to create story upon story, from the simple to the richly eclectic.

Once described as 'A clever brand that hits every marker,' Links of London is at the forefront of design, creating memorable jewellery collections such as Sirens, Lovestruck and Purity Pearl. For men, the brand offers finely crafted rings, chain pendants, cuff links and other choice accessories to complement the sophisticated look.

Recently, Links of London has launched its first major Watch Collection which includes six watch families together with some exciting special edition gemstone pieces. All the watchesare Swiss-made in sleek stainless steel cases with a sapphire crystal watch glass and generously sized crowns.

Anthology is now available at the Links of London Boutique, Retail Extension First Level, Wafi.
