Recognizing this, the Pakistan Embassy in Japan is organizing a fashion show where renowned Pakistani dress designers are expected to participate.

This effort is aimed at targeting Japanese consumers by entering the retail chains across the country.

This show is scheduled for March 2009, at the grounds of Pakistani Mission, Tokyo

Pakistan Embassy also held a seminar explaining the trade opportunities in the country, so as to encourage Japan-based Pakistani business community invest in Pakistan.

Experts say that Pakistani fashion designers and their products are already accepted in the US, UK, UAE and many international markets. Thus, if everything goes well, this step to enter Japanese market promises to be successful.
