ScentAir & Yankee Candle to create commercial fragrance line
Dec '08
ScentAir Technologies, Inc., the leading global provider of scent delivery solutions for businesses, and The Yankee Candle Company, Inc., America's favorite candle brand, have joined forces to bring industry-leading Yankee Candle fragrances to the commercial market.

The two scent leaders have signed a cooperative marketing agreement in which ScentAir will offer a premium Yankee Candle fragrance product line for its commercial customers. Businesses will be able to choose from Yankee Candle's widely-appealing portfolio of monthly or seasonal fragrances.

“At ScentAir, we are committed to providing the highest quality scent solutions to our customers, and this new Yankee Candle product line is a wonderful extension of that promise,” said Tom Conroy, CEO of ScentAir. “We are proud to align ourselves with the No. 1 scented candle brand in the world, The Yankee Candle Company, which shares a commitment to quality and a passion for fragrance.”

“This is an exciting development for the Yankee Candle brand,” said Rick Ruffolo, SVP of Brand, Marketing and Innovation. “Yankee Candle has long been the premium candle of choice for consumers. Now, by offering Yankee Candle's ever-popular seasonal scents through ScentAir's leading scent delivery solutions, people will be able to experience and enjoy their favorite Yankee Candle fragrances in hotels, retail stores, and other commercial buildings. For the first time, businesses will be able to enhance their environments with premium Yankee Candle scents.”

With this agreement, Yankee Candle gains immediate entry into key commercial markets, while ScentAir adds the premium Yankee Candle fragrances and trusted brand to its product line.
