Moda leads the way for A/W 09

The House of Frank Saul will offer fashion and function with the launch of Mascara, an eclectic and elegant collection of fashion dress and party wear alongside high quality, luxury garments from James Lakeland in their only UK trade show this season.

Look out for UK launches from All is Beautiful's unique range using the brands signature detail on all pieces, understated clever style from Uldahl, bold fabrics and prints from cutting edge sister label Uto and Danish brand Moluu's ready to wear collection that is pure styling with a hint of quirkiness.

Just a few other names showing include Eugen Klein showing its new dedicated outerwear collection for autumn/winter 2009 alongside the likes of Frank Usher, Gardeur, Bernshaw, John Charles, Intown and Anoushka G.

Moda continues to be the most exciting, directional fashion event in the UK for an overview of the season's must-have trends. It will unite more retailers, buyers and designer talent than ever before whilst providing expertise and practical advice.

Moda Footwear, 15 – 17 February 09
Refreshed for 2009, Moda is set to offer its most diverse and exciting portfolio of brands. The forthcoming event, will build on the success of 2008 with the introduction of brand new features - new collections along with the revamp of Moda footwear will be unveiled on 15-17 February at Birmingham NEC.

A new look for the UK's largest footwear show has paved the way for the arrival of a number of new brands showing alongside the unbeatable line-up of established names.

Moda Footwear will be divided into five key areas bringing together like minded brands. High fashion names in the Boutique zone providing stylish and chic fashion footwear include Ravel, Moda in Pelle, Bittersweet and Zinnia, while the vibrant Life zone for causal footwear includes the likes of Art, Rocket Dog, Bronx, Hush Puppies, Ben Sherman and Base London.

Mephisto, DB Shoes and Nordika will be among the brands showcasing the ultimate in classic and comfort footwear in the Essential zone and exhibitors in the kids' zone include Elephantito, Orchestra and XTI. For the last word on in season style, the express zone will be featuring the likes of Phildon, William lamb, Arrk and Beta Shoes.

Making a statement at Moda Footwear will be J Shoes unique styles which incorporate a mixture of elements including coloured leather uppers and striking silhouettes, New Zealand label WLM offering a selection of footwear crafted from sheepskin and other authentic materials. Additionally Bourne has created three distinctive lines that experiment with luxurious dark glamour, classic neutrals, animal prints and metallics.

Cat Footwear will present its new collection of Rugged, Active and Casual footwear. Inspired by an array of trends, the new collection features rich leathers, chunky cable knits, lumberjack plaid, sophisticated shapes and considered detail. Also at Moda Footwear, lookout for a new look from Base London incorporating camo prints, military styles and heavy stitching in their expanded boot range. And Ikon goes against the crowd with a host of new Originals influenced by key themes from British cult music genres including Scooterboy, Glam Rock, Dapper and 80's New Romantics.

Moda's free seminar programme welcomes online specialists Ray Buckler and Nick Pratt who will tackle the most talked about current issue in fashion retail. Topics will focus on how retailers and brands can maximize sales in increasingly challenging conditions and will present practical advice and crucial information on the fashion retail industry to help offer inspiration for those looking to make the most of online retailing.
