Eight third-years students from Novia University of Applied Sciences in Turku/Åbo, Finland have gained the opportunity to exhibit at CIFF in Bella Center from 5th to 8th of February.
The experimental exhibition is called Parallels and features a multifunctional collection that is partially a result of Novia University of Applied Sciences' emphasis on environmental awareness.
Parallels is a collection of multifunctional women's clothing. Each individual item of clothing can be used in more than one way and thus can meet vari-ous needs.
- It is an easy way to vary your clothing. You can get an entirely different look in no time, explains Linda Gustavsson, who is one of the designers.
Parallels is inspired by bohemian glamour, a contrast between the super elegant and unconventional trendy look. The colours, cuts and materials gather the traits of the eight designers' creations in a single collection.
