"We are excited to welcome all the new stores to share in one of the world's premier luxury fashion districts," said Matthew Bauer, President of the Madison Avenue Business Improvement District (BID), "These brands are only the latest in a long and illustrious line of fashion houses and world class retailers to choose the vibrancy and exclusivity of Madison Avenue as the location from which to do business."
Mr. Bauer continued, "Savvy brands recognize that the current environment represents an incredible opportunity to gain a foothold on Madison Avenue. Rents are lower than they have been in a while, and the smartest retailers will see this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to gain Madison Avenue visibility. These are the brands that are opening new flagships, expanding their existing space, and looking to the future."
