Textile, Clothing and Footwear Small Business Program of the Federal government has offered grants to 68 companies, who have been chosen from 250 aspiring companies.
After gaining over $26,000 in this federal funding, Ms. Natalie Wakeling, a Mudgee fashion designer hopes to break into the US market, who said that this grant has offered many opportunities.
Further she said that she will use this grant to upgrade the website of her denim-wear firm 'Embody' and to improve its marketing strategies.
This will enable her server to get a domain name for her in the United States, which will bring more traffic to her website from other countries in the world, she added.
