Nuance-Watson opens new Longchamp stand-alone boutique at HKIA

Nuance-Watson (Hong Kong) and Longchamp have jointly unveiled the new Longchamp boutique in a new expanded retail space at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) Terminal 1 East Hall. The new 60 square metre standalone boutique enjoys a two-sided frontage at the heart of the East Hall retail zone facing the major passenger path to the Central Concourse and West Hall.

The new store was officially opened by Ms. Alessandra Piovesana, Nuance-Watson (HK) Regional Managing Director, North Asia; Mr. Stephane Beraud, Longchamp International Director; Ms. Mollie Roger, Longchamp Area Manager, Asia Pacific; Ms. Eva Tsang, Airport Authority HK General Manager, Retail & Advertising Business, Marketing & Business Development; and Ms. Clarice Au, Nuance-Watson (HK) General Manager, Operations.

Debuting with the grand opening event was a sneak preview of the brand's new wave of chic “IT” bags demonstrated by China's top model Pei Bei. Other prominent guests at the opening included China's Miss World 2008, Tiaz Jiang, and several local celebrity models.

Speaking at the opening, Alessandra Piovesana said: “We take pride in launching Longchamp in this new expanded location. Our partnership with the brand dates back to 2000, and we have been operating a standalone boutique since 2003. Longchamp is one of the many brands we have introduced and grown in our general merchandise stores and later successfully promoted through standalone concepts. We are committed to continue to satisfy our customers in close partnership with our brands and the airport authority, while ascertaining the best exposure and return for the brands at our airport.”

Longchamp has long been a favourite among travellers as it combines quality, elegance and convenience, offering a balance between luxury and practicality. At the new boutique, Longchamp will present a comprehensive assortment, from travel bags and luggage to handbags, wallets and accessories.

Apart from this new boutique, Longchamp has also undergone a total image makeover within Nuance-Watson (HK)'s The Atrium and The Plaza department stores, enticing airport customers with its ever-popular collection of travel bags and leather goods in widely expanded corners that offer a broader range of products.
