FAB members select 15 designers for Swahili Fashion Week

The annual Swahili Fashion Week 2009 is to be held during the month of November 2009 in Dar es Salaam , Tanzania . With 12 Designers showcasing last year, including those from Zanzibar and Mwanza, This year 27 Application from designers were received.
The Swahili Fashion week FAB (Fashion Advisory Board) Members Selected 15 Designer at the FAB meeting on 15 August at the British Council Auditorium, The selected designers shall be Showcasing at the Second Annual Swahili Fashion Week.
This year the focus is on Creativity, Brand Building , and Quality of product and Culture Compliance.
