Award-winning Chilean designer Ruben Campos will present his latest collection at Couture Fashion Week, 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at the world-famous Waldorf-Astoria Hotel on New York's legendary Park Avenue.
Often referred to as the "Architect of Chilean Fashion", Mr. Campos studied fashion design in Madrid with Anselmo Bazola and later went on to launch his own couture fashion house in Santiago, Chile. He is one of Latin America's most prominent and successful fashion designers, consistently creating elegant, sophisticated and inspiring designs. He has shown on runways throughout Latin America as well as in Miami, New York and, in June 2009, as a special guest at the premiere of Dominican Republic Fashion Week.
Ruben Campos's creations reflect a decidedly architectural influence, and each design is almost a fashion sculpture built to bring out the best features of its wearer.
Mr. Campos's discerning clientele includes celebrities, socialites, beauty queens and dignitaries, and his designs have been sold in many boutiques around the world including Neiman Marcus in the United States.
