Relaxo Footwears Limited, one of the largest footwear producing company, has forayed into western India by launching their three stores in the state of Gujarat. In a press conference Mr.Jitendra Jena, VP, HR & Corporate Strategy, Relaxo Footwears Limited, said, "At Relaxo we always believe in delivering Quality par Excellence.

After getting huge responses from the people of North India, we have decided to carry our motto of providing quality products at affordable price to our customers in Western India and these three stores are the starting point of our ambition. Earlier we were mostly present in Northern India and now we are planning to move in every part of the country, more focus on the western part of India , seeing the huge market potential.

Total No. of Relaxo Outlets is 83 all over India and we are planning to reach 100 stores by the end of this year. Presently No. of stores-83 Plans to reach 100 stores by March 2010. USP-Quality products at an affordable price Production Capacity 3 Lakh pairs per day. The range of Relaxo has collections from formal to casual shoes in Men's, women's and kid's category.

This collection of reasonably priced yet incredibly comfortable shoes includes formal shoes, sports shoes, canvas shoes, sandals, floaters, slippers,school shoes, fashionable sandals and shoes for ladies, furthermore they are available under the brand name of Relaxo Hawai, Sparx, Flite, School Mate , Mary Jane, Boston and Kids fun. In this occasion, Mr. Kewal Dhar, Retail Head (Operations), Relaxo Footwears Limited said, "We are really excited at the launch of Relaxo Retail outlets in Gujarat. In the terms of Quality par Excellence, Mr. Dhar added "we are trying to give quality products to our consumers at a very affordable price.

On answering about the question of "customers enter with a smile and leave with a smile", he said, "It has been our constant endeavour to reach out to masses and offer world-class shopping experience at affordable value. We are also coming with more stores in the cities like Vadodara, Valsad, Naysari, Anand, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, Junagarh, Porbandar, Bhuj, Gandhidham, Mehsana and Palanpur".

Relaxo is committed to provide consistent value added quality footwear and services to satisfy its customers through continual improvement and innovation. Its mission is to ensure Customer Satisfaction and Quality par Excellence and achieve Rs 1000 crore annual Turnover by the end of 2011-12.

The products of Relaxo are manufactured and designed using very high end technologies and are involved in constant R&D to ensure their consumers maximum satisfaction. Their state -of -art factories are located in Bahadurgarh, Bhiwadi, Haridwar and Delhi Having a capacity of 3 lakh pair production per day.

Relaxo Footwears started their journey in 1976 at Shahzadabagh ,Delhi and became a listed company in 1983. In 2008 it emerged as the largest footwear producer in India with a capacity of 3 lakh pair production per day.

With a vision of achieving Rs 1000 crore annual Turnover by the end of 2011-12, Relaxo Footwears is a complete footwear solution company producing products for each and every one in a family with a motive of providing them with high class products at an affordable price range.
