Fresh off the race track and on to the Las Vegas Strip, Swiss watch brand Tissot, the Official Timekeeper and Watch for NASCAR, continued to show its strong affiliation with the world of motorsports by participating in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion's Week in Las Vegas, Nevada this week. Tissot sponsored various events for NASCAR enthusiasts during the event held from November 27th through December 4th. The Tissot celebrations began Wednesday, December 2nd with the Tissot Touch Pit Road Girls Street Team stirring up the strip.

Thursday, December 3rd was the ever-famous NASCAR NMPA Myers Brothers Awards where Tissot awarded to the final winners of the Tissot Pit Road Precision Award – the #16 Roush/Fenway Team. The Champion Pit Crew Team received a check for $100,000.00 and specially engraved Tissot T-Touch Expert watches. That following afternoon, the top 12 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers raced their stock cars down Las Vegas Boulevard roaring past sidewalks lined with passionate fans for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Victory Lap.

Just when they didn't have enough excitement, a select 700 dedicated fans watched as their favorite drivers participated in the NASCAR After-the-Lap Presented by Tissot Fan event hosted by ESPN's Jamie Little. During the NASCAR After-the-Lap event, the top 12 drivers received a special edition Tissot Le Locle Power Reserve watch on stage in front of their favorite fans.

New this year at Champion's Week was the NASCAR After-the-Lap Presented by Tissot Fan Event. In the past, the Q&A events were conducted by the media, but this year NASCAR and Tissot decided to change the question and answer session opportunity by giving fans a more authentic NASCAR experience and allowing them the chance to ask their burning questions to the top 12 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers.

"Some of these fans have followed drivers since their own childhood, and so what better way to award those fans than by putting them face-to-face with their icons," commented Sharon Buntain, Tissot Brand President, "Tissot has been timing the victories for both the drivers and the fans of NASCAR for the past four years, and we are proud to celebrate our status as both Official Timekeeper and Official Watch of NASCAR."

Spread throughout the Las Vegas strip were the Tissot Touch Pit Road Girls handing out T-Touch wrist bands with a chance to win a watch and inviting the most devoted fans to the NASCAR After-the-Lap Presented Tissot Fan event. Printed on each wristband were the four Tissot retailers each participating in the watch give-away. Located inside each retailer was a locked safe containing a Tissot Special Edition NASCAR watch.

Fans wearing the wristband were given the chance to unlock the safe and win. Participating retailers were Ca'd'Oro (at the Venetian Grand Canal Shoppes), Tourneau (at the Forum Shops in Caesars), Ben Bridge Jeweler and Fred Meyer Jeweler (both located in the Fashion Show Mall). Each retailer gave away two watches, during December 2nd – December 3rd, giving fans a chance to win a total of eight Tissot watches worth.

As part of Tissot's involvement with Champion's Week, branded Tissot timekeeping scoring clocks were placed at strategic high-traffic pit stop points in and around the Las Vegas strip and there was significant branding at both the start and finish lines of the Victory Lap.
