In the name of charity, actress Kristy Swanson, best known for playing the original Buffy Summers in the film “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” as well as starring roles in “Big Daddy,” and “Skating with Celebrities,” donated her Hollywood-worn, designer dresses and clothing to NorthStar Moving Corporation's “Drive For the Clothes Off Our Back Foundation.” Kristy donated 44 memorable ensembles and an astounding 41 of them sold on the Foundation's site. The auction attracted fans from across the country and globe, including Australia and Canada.

Proceeds from the auction benefited Clothes Off Our Back's charities including Feeding America, The Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Mattel Children's Hospital UCLA, and Malaria No More and Hope North.

NorthStar Moving Corporation, the leading eco-luxury mover in California, serves an impressive list of celebrity clientele including Kristy Swanson and the Wayans Brothers who now have both donated many of their designer possessions to NorthStar Moving's “Drive For the Clothes Off Our Back Foundation.” The celebrity movers clothing drive collects donations from their star-studded clientele and delivers the famous items to the organization that can turn them into a great cause, The Clothes Off Our Back Foundation, a 501c3 organization that hosts charity auctions showcasing today's hottest celebrity attire with proceeds benefiting various children's charities.

"We are very thankful to Kristy Swanson and NorthStar Moving again for their generous clothing donation to our foundation," said Michel Schneider, Executive Director of the Clothes Off Our Back Foundation. "When NorthStar Moving moved Kristy they helped her clean out her closet and then invited us to help her choose some special garments from her recent projects to help raise money for our charities. We are so happy to continue our fundraising with these great partners."

“Giving back is the best part of our job,” said Ram Katalan, founder and president of NorthStar Moving. “Kristy has been so generous with her time and donations. As we enter the holiday season it is great to see our teams come together to assist children in need.”
