Nuance brings 'World of Wellness and Colour' at Zurich Airport

The Nuance Group continues to upgrade its store concept portfolio for the core category of perfume and cosmetics. In order to complement the offer at its existing Tax Free Stores, Nuance has opened an additional “World of Wellness and Colour” boutique at Zurich International Airport's Airside Center, presenting sought after wellness and make-up brands in a 50 square metre boutique style environment.

The award-winning “World of Wellness” concept was first introduced in late 2008, presenting an exciting selection of wellness brands mainly featuring organic or natural ingredients, a fair trade background or a distinct philosophy. This concept has now been adapted for the particular demands of passengers at Zurich International Airport, and for the purpose it has been combined with a “World of Colour” (cosmetics).

Located at the Airside Center's Level 2, the store's “World of Wellness” section features well known international favourites like L'Occitane, Korres and The Body Shop as well as Swiss brands Swissdent Dental Cosmetics and Skincode, each presented with their distinct counter.

Next to these wellness brands, “World of Wellness and Colour” features a MAC shop-in-shop, the first of its kind in Europe. MAC creates special shopping excitement by presenting limited special editions every single month which are eagerly awaited by loyal customers. The Nuance Group also participates in MAC's Viva Glam Club, donating 100 per cent of the proceeds from each Viva Glam lipstick sold to The MAC AIDS Fund.

Alex Anson, Buying & Merchandising Director, The Nuance Group Europe, explains the rationale behind the new store concept: “Our Tax Free Stores for perfume and cosmetics offer an ample assortment of brands and products. From their set-up, they are very much designed as self-service concepts, with competent sales advisors on hand to assist customers if required. The “World of Wellness and Colour” boutique, on the other hand, features dedicated beauty advisors for each brand. Their role is to advise customers regarding the perfect choice of product for their particular needs. Our MAC sales advisors are all trained make-up artists ready to dedicate time and effort to counselling customers. All in all, this is an exciting new concept arranged around a distinct philosophy and designed to perfectly complement our existing offer. I am convinced that it will add yet another degree of customer service and shopping excitement to our offer at Zurich International Airport.”

Brands featured in “The World of Wellness and Colour”

L'Occitane - For over thirty years, the fields of Provence and the traditions and techniques of this unspoiled land have been the secret and inspiration behind L'Occitane's natural beauty products. To enhance their focus on authentic products, L'Occitane chooses to work with committed producers who set rigorous standards and using ancient techniques (the use of essential oils), AOCcontrolled-origin ingredients (lavender, olive), or forgotten traditional cultivations (the revival of the almond tree in Provence).
