This month saw the launch of a successful autumn/winter 11/12 seminar series for the UK trend forecasting company, Mudpie, who delivered their 'New Equilibrium' trend seminar to a packed auditorium of more than 400 attendees at the London College of Fashion on the 9th June.

Fiona Jenvey, CEO of Mudpie and presenter of the seminar series, stated that “We were very pleased at the success of this event, which had over 400 attendees from a number of major high street multiples, independents and manufacturers including Evans, Hallmark Cards, Monsoon, MTV, New Look, Peacocks, River Island and Ted Baker.”

Each presentation focused on the key trends for the season with influences from the international arena including art, architecture and product design as well as fashion. Realistic application of these trends was interpreted using colour and fabric direction into garments for the womens, mens and childrenswear markets.

Short-term complimentary passes to the Mpdclick website were given to all attendees with three lucky companies successfully winning a 3-month subscription.

Mudpie will be presenting their autumn/winter 11/12 trends at a number of upcoming industry events during the season, including the Stitch Menswear show in London on the 30th June.
Following the successful launch of Mudpie's seminar series in the UK, the company will be presenting their next season's trends for spring/summer 12 at the London College of Fashion in February 2011.
