French fashion retail chain Beaumanoir women's brand, Cache Cache is planning to target the lingerie segment.
It will launch a range of 40 pieces by the end of October which will be initially sold through its website.
In April 2010, Cache Cache test-marketed a range of 15 T-shirts online, targeting the children's garment section. But the decision, to enter the lingerie segment, seems to be a focused step towards creating a variation in its collection, as it has already started preparing for its second kidswear collection.
Cache Cache has decided to invest over € 2 million (US $2.54 million) in a countrywide promotional campaign in the autumn season, which corresponds with Beaumanoir's 25th anniversary.
