International music acts at Charles Vögele Fashion Days

The inaugural Charles Vögele Fashion Days will take place in Zurich this season from November 3-6, 2010. Over the course of four days nearly 25 Swiss designers will present their collections and international music acts will contribute to the celebratory framework of the event. Famous catwalk models such as Irina Kulikova will contribute glamour to the shows.

Zurich – October 2010. On the 3rd of November the Charles Vögele Fashion will commence with the ceremonial Opening Night. On this evening the new label “Biaggini Violett” will be presented for the first time, a collection that Penélope and Mónica Cruz designed exclusively for Charles Vögele. The international music act Alesha will round up the evening. The Gala International Closing show will be very glamorous as well: Along with the presentation of the labels Guido Maria Kretschmer and Missoni, the American singer and songwriter Mike Posner from Detroit (USA) will be performing a taste of his new album “31 Minutes to take off”.

Just like at international catwalk events in Paris, New York, Milan or Berlin, also the Fashion Days in Zurich will be characterized by highest standards and professionalism. Renowned catwalk models will be adding international glamour to the shows
From the IMG Models' portfolio, Irina Kulikova, amongst others, will be walking in individual shows. The 19 year old was discovered four years ago in a restaurant in Moscow, by the chief of the modeling agency IMG Models and the actress Liv Tyler.Irina Kulikova was brought straight to New York, where she walked her first shows and began a cometlike modeling career. Already in her first year, she got to open shows for Calvin Klein and Prada and in Paris she was chosen to close for Louis Vuitton and Yves Saint Laurent. A few months later, V magazine voted her to be one of the 10 most important newcomers in the industry. Engagements for the Italian, Chinese and German Vogue followed and in the meantime she has managed to model for the world's most important magazines and photographers.

“It is extremely important to us that the first season of Charles Voegele Fashion Days in Zurich will be staged with the highest international standards,” explains Maia Guarnaccia,Vice President IMG Fashion, Europe. “We want to offer something unique to the interested audience that usually only selected fashion editors get to experience up close: exclusive collections, international catwalk models and a top-class and glamorous event.”

An event for all Fashion fans
At the first Charles Vögele Fashion Days Zurich all fashionistas are welcome, tickets for the shows can be purchased in various categories at www.ticketcorner.ch. The show blocs of the individual designers take place at “Puls 5”. During the even a two storied VIP and Sponsor Tent will be located at Turbinenplatz opposite the Puls 5, which can hold up to 600 people. All the guests that obtained a VIP ticket will also have access to this tent.
