Get style tips from Alan Flusser, the man who was the fashion mentor for entertainer Fonzworth Bentley, famously first known for holding an umbrella over Sean “Diddy” Combs's head. Best-selling author and Coty Award-winning designer Flusser will share his encyclopedic knowledge of menswear and discuss the principals underlying Dressing The Man: Mastering the Art of Permanent Fashion.

The designer of Michael Douglas's wardrobe for his legendary character Gordon Gekko in the movie Wall Street, Flusser will explain the do's and don'ts of buying and wearing stylish clothes, as well as the formation of an individual dressing style that transcends the fickleness of fashion's momentary appeal. Event followed by book signing.

Fashion Culture programs are organized by The Museum at FIT (MFIT) to provide new perspectives on the culture of fashion.

Date: Wednesday, March 2, 6-8 pm
