Preeti & Samantha raise a toast to the summer bride

Marking memory of a jazzy evening, designer Preeti Ghai unveiled her pre-nuptial collection in association with Omnia Restaurant, makeup and hair styling artist Samantha Kochhar and Chawla Jewellers at Silver Ferns Boutique Hotel, Saket, New Delhi.

Designer Preeti Ghai showcased six special ensembles for the bride to be, to suit her glory prior to her wedding day. Her collection includes saree cum lehngas, cocktail gowns, rich flowy anarkalis and Barbie-doll gowns to name a few as part of her pre- nuptial collection. Also, to enhance the bridal charm, Samantha Kochhar, the Make- up expert has imparted six special looks in symphony to these adorable creations.

Models showcased six different looks and make up based on the theme of six pre nuptial celebrations

The glitterati's who attended the evening where Arti Mehra,Rama Dhawan(Smt Sheila Dixit's sister), artist Sunaiana Malhotra, designer Pam Mehta, Ala Madhu, Ramola Bachachan, Ramneek Pantal, Neelam Pratap Rudy, Bubbles Sabarwal, NitinVijay, KimiTej, Sylvie, Vandana Vadhera, Vandy Mehra, Designer Dev of Dev r Nil, Tanya Khanuja, Sandhya Bajaj, Rakhi Sethi,Poonam Sethi, Tina Chatwal just to name a few.

Preeti is an expert when it comes to creating magic with Swarovski embellished garments, Appliqué and Anarkalis .The designer has used embroidery placements and cuts. Preeti's colour palette revolves around coral purple, sky blue, light mango, wine colours for summer bride's collection. Multi-layered and many textured, the range thus captures today's contemporary bride expressed in an alchemy of colours and abundance of quality. The whole collection is paraphernalia of beautiful fabrics like traditional banarsi , net, georgette and imported lace.

Says designer Preeti Ghai, "For today's women, carrying tradition with trend is the driving force to boost her confidence level, thus also, establishing her strong stand in the society. Therefore my every creation incorporates an attitude with intrinsic aesthetic value. Each outfit in the studio carries a message and a memory".

Samantha Kochhar, the make- up expert, says, "Many times projected fashion trends cannot completely guide you to get the perfect make- up and hair, experimentation and innovation is important along with staying rooted to the traditional Indian bridal look. Keeping that in mind, I have created 6 different pre-bridal and bridal make- up and hair looks for the summer season. It is vibrant, colorful and maintains the sanctity of the Indian Bride."
