Wills Lifetsyle India Fashion Week (WLIFW) saw designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla presenting a retrospective of their 20 years in fashion on the third day of the fashion show.
It was a departure from earlier tradition, where new collections are showcased at the India Fashion Week.
Abu said, participating in WLIFW was for celebrating 20 years of Abu-Sandeep association by presenting previous collection at the Fashion Week.
The designers' journey of two decades was captured on the ramp with Shewta Bachchan sashaying in a Swarovski-studded blouse and a white saree.
The collection started with crushed look and finished with 90's chikankari, portraying their work since 1987.
The duo held this high-profile model in high esteem who took the ramp for their sake, said Sandeep.
Abu-Sandeep's participation at WLIFW was to show solidarity with FDCI, as Indian designers showcased their collection here under one roof.
Jaya Bachchan, Sonali Bendre, Rita Dhodi, Subhalakshmi Khan and Nikhil Nanda were also seen attending the Wills Lifestyle Fashion Show.
