The EU plans to work with domestic authorities to find out the real amount of Vietnamese footwear exported to its markets.

Councils of the European Commission's Directorate General for Trade informed that if the footwear increased over three percent of the EU's market share, will be inspected for dumping.

Local trade veterans have recently opined that Vietnamese exports which include textile, garments, woodwork, rubber, farm produce and seafood, are suffering from major anti-dumping lawsuits.

Vietnamese exports submitted itself to a total of 18 dumping investigations between the period of 1994 and 2004.
